When will my RapidCycle arrive?
Your RapidCycle will be shipped via ground shipping within 24 hours after you submit your order. Online purchases submitted on Saturday or Sunday will begin processing on Monday.
Transit time varies from 1-7 business days & depends on the distance from our warehouse to your shipping address.
Does my RapidCycle come assembled?
Your RapidCycle will arrive at your doorstep 90% assembled. Basic installation of the front wheel, saddle, handlebar & pedals can all be accomplished with the included tools. If you encounter any difficulties, we strongly encourage you to visit your local bike shop or certified mechanic for assistance.
Alternatively, you are welcome to pick up your fully assembled RapidCycle Evolve from our warehouse location in Downtown Los Angeles (1245 S. Hope St., Los Angeles, CA 90015) between 10am to 6pm. There is a $20 assembly fee. We are moving between warehouse locations, so please e-mail email@example.com or give us a call to make an appointment and we’ll be happy to help you!
Redeeming a voucher?
If you possess a voucher, you have two options: 1) E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your voucher code. We will reply with a personalized code you can can enter in our shopping cart to redeem your credit. Your RapidCycle will be shipped within 1-7 business days; or 2) Make an appointment by e-mailing email@example.com to pick up your bike, 90% assembled, from our warehouse location in Downtown Los Angeles (1245 S. Hope St., Los Angeles, CA 90015. We can assemble the RapidCycle Evolve model for an additional $20.
RapidCycles are required to pass strict & thorough assembly line quality control before careful packaging & shipping. We stand behind our product, which is why we offer an industry-leading lifetime warranty on the frame & fork. Should you find any manufacturing defects or defects due to shipping, please email us a description of the defects at firstname.lastname@example.org before returning the bicycle. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, but we will ship a new or repaired bicycle back to you at our own cost.
Which frame size is right for me?
We currently offer 2 frame sizes, 48cm & 53cm. Although frame sizes preferences are subjective, we recommend the 48cm frame for riders 4’11” to 5’8”, & the 53cm frame for riders 5’9” & above.
What are RapidCycle frames made of?
RapidCycle frames are made of Aircraft-grade 7005 aluminum alloy. All our frames are constructed according to some of the most advanced & aerodynamic geometries in the industry. We are committed to providing fast & reliable bikes which give you the most for your money. RapidCycles are up to 15% lighter than comparable bicycles!
What is the difference between a fixed-gear bike & a single-speed bike?
Fixed-gear bikes require the rider to pedal constantly- even when riding down a hill, riders must pedal forward to move forward. In order to slow down, you must pedal backwards. Riders often feel more connected with the road & more in control of the bicycle, thus making this style of riding very popular in the street. Single-speed bikes have one gear & enable you to coast after building some momentum. In order to enable our customers to experience both types of riding, each RapidCycle comes with a flip-flop hub, which allows you to easily switch between single-speed & fixed-gear riding by simply removing the rear wheel & flipping it around. Do I have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax is added to orders shipping to California (where our warehouse is located). The California sales tax is 7.5%, with additional county surcharges where applicable. Orders shipped outside of California are not subject to sales tax.
Please return online purchases via mail, or visit us at our warehouse location in Downtown Los Angeles (1245 S. Hope St., Los Angeles, CA 90015) between the working hours of 10am to 6pm. Please make an appointment first as we are moving between locations frequently. Bicycles must be returned in brand new, original condition (unused, undamaged) within 7 business days of receiving your order to receive a full refund. A 10% restocking fee will apply to bicycles which have been ridden. Customers are responsible for return shipping & handling fees. Please use additional precaution when repackaging, as bicycles which are returned with damage due to negligent packaging will neither be refunded nor re-sent.
